Valley Brook Green Corridor

What is the project?

Valley Brook forms a natural corridor across the south of Crewe. Currently, for much of its journey it is hidden, overlooked or forgotten completely.

This project – a partnership led by Cheshire East Council, the Environment Agency and Crewe Town Council – aims to revitalise the area, create new public space, encourage more people to travel by bicycle or on foot, and improve the watercourse and habitats for wildlife.

In September last year, the public was asked for feedback on plans for the scheme.

The feedback is currently being considered and options for how the project can be taken forward are being explored.
