We are all Crewe
“We are strategically well placed to attract more jobs and investment which will boost the local economy.”
Crewe has been allocated £22.9m of funding through the government’s Towns Fund and a package of nine projects have been chosen to benefit.
The projects focus on community spaces and connected places, town centre regeneration, and culture and heritage. You can find out more about them here.
Crewe Town Board – made up of representatives from the community, public, private and voluntary sectors – was set up to manage the Towns Fund bid and produced Crewe’s 10-year Town Investment Plan (17mb PDF).
The board also helps to oversee the delivery of other projects already in the pipeline, including the town centre’s regeneration to ensure everyone works together to achieve the same vision for Crewe and the wider area.
Have your say
We would love to hear from you and share ideas. If you have any thoughts or suggestions about the town centre, our culture and heritage, connecting places, community spaces or anything else – please let us know.
Who are we?
We are a team of representatives from Crewe’s civic and business community. Together we have come together to form a Town Board for Crewe. We have developed a Town Investment Plan and secured £22.9 million in Government funding for the town as part of the Government Towns Fund Initiative.
Our vision
Crewe will be a revitalised place: a special place shaped by its engineering and railway past and present, established as the urban heart of the area it serves, and confident about its future.
Success to date
So much has already been achieved in pushing forward with Crewe’s transformation, and we believe the town and wider area has an even brighter future ahead.
